In South Africa I was building a house for AIDS orphans, it was so life changing. South Africa is my favorite place I’ve visited so far, and it holds a very special place in my heart. I honestly cannot wait to go back! (hopefully summer of 2015!)
When you fly from the US to South Africa directly, you have fuel stop in Dakar, so that brought me to Senegal. It was actually quite cool, even though I didn’t get off the plane. I take French (no where near fluent at all) and that is what they were speaking, it was cool to see what I could understand.
ahh I am sorry this took me so long to reply!
Let’s see, I have spent a lot of time in various parts of the United States (I live there, but have actually travelled the country more than most people my age…and more than a lot of people in general). I have been to Mexico and Canada (briefly). I’ve travelled to Italy, Spain, and France. I’ve spent time in South Africa. And on top of that I’ve had layovers in Senegal and London, if you count that.
I feel really blessed to have had opportunities to travel where I have. Its been incredible.
